We’ve said it more than once, and we’ll say it again: Monaco may be tiny but there is enough going on in this unique sovereign state to keep everyone busy this summer.
La Costa Properties Monaco – leading agents for luxury homes in Monaco – present some of the best events in Monaco this summer.
- Robbie Williams in concert at la Salle des Etoiles; with tickets costing from 300 EUR each, seeing the legendary Robbie Williams sing live on May 31 doesn’t come cheap, but we guarantee it will be worth it.
- If dancing is more your thing, why not grab the last few tickets for Ballet Revolution on the European leg of their world tour, the touring group of extraordinary dancers are from Cuba. Tickets are still available for the performance at The Grimaldi Forum from June 20-22.
- For those who prefer the cinema, Lord of The Rings will be shown on a massive screen in the Grimaldi Forum on June 28and 29, accompanied by musicians from the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic.
- From June to August, cinema lovers can also watch films at the Open Air Cinema on the Rock in Monaco Ville. With a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, comfortable chairs, stunning views and an incredible 200 m 2 screen the Monaco Open Air Cinema has to be the best cinema in the world!
- Back to concerts, and this year will see the 40th anniversary of the Sporting Summer Festival, held at La Salle des Etoiles every summer. This year, the line-up will include Sir Elton John, Robin Thicke and Bryan Adams.
- For those who prefer outdoor fun, why not head to Larvotto Plage for a day on the beach; here you will find a number of excellent restaurants and a section of the Mediterranean Sea which is as clear as you will ever find thanks to a special net to keep dirt – and jelly fish – at bay.
- Another must over the summer for those staying in one of Monaco’s luxury properties is a day out on the sea. There are a number of luxury yacht charter companies who will help you charter a yacht for a day, a week or a month.
- One of the most popular summer events in Monaco each summer is the Firework festival, which will this year take place on various evenings from July 19 to August 16. It is a wonderful occasion to sit on your balcony in your Monaco apartment and watch the sky light up with colourful displays.
- The first ever Solar 1 Monte-Carlo Cup will take place from July 10 to 12; a race between solar powered yachts in the waters off Monaco.
- Back on land another event not to miss is the Art Lovers Exhibition; Stories of Art in the Pinault Collection at the Grimaldi Forum form July 12 to September 7.
