The Rolex Masters has Arrived in Monaco

3448327062_7718308f67_zAs you walk around Monaco this month it is hard to miss the huge life size posters of tennis players hung on almost every street corner. The billboards are plastered around the Principality to advertise one of April’s most popular events:  the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters.

As if anyone needs reminding; the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters held at the Monte-Carlo Country Club is one of the most important tennis tournaments in the world and is annually attended by the sport’s biggest names.

NobuRoyalty, the King of Hollywood and the great and good of Monaco were out in force to celebrate the opening of a new restaurant in the prestigious Fairmont Hotel.

Monaco’s Sporting Summer Festival

For a sovereign city-state no larger than your average French town, the variety of cultural attractions on offer in Monaco throughout the year is huge.

Take the Sporting Summer Festival, for example. This glamorous event which runs for six weeks in July and August is one of the premier music festivals in Europe with a following of loyal supporters who come year in, year out to hear their favorite musicians perform.

The festival, held in the superb Salle des Etoiles which lies next to the exclusive Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort and close to some of our premier property in Monaco, has been drawing some of the best international performers since it started up more than 30 years ago.
