Opéra Garnier
The principality is slowly but surely growing its cultural reputation both at home and abroad, meaning that there’s never been a better time to invest in property for sale in Monaco. The highly anticipated Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival – a musical extravaganza that attracts some of the biggest performers in the world of music – returns to the region on July 2nd, and it’s set to be one of the biggest and best yet. Residents of Monaco will enjoy performances from an array of talented musicians at three iconic music venues: Opéra Garnier, Place du Casino and Salle des Etoiles.
Following in the footsteps of show openers including The Who, Cher, Tom Jones and Ray Charles will be Rod Stewart, who is renowned for his exciting and energetic performances. But he’s not the only major performer on the bill: Gladys Knight will be performing at the stunning Salle des etoiles on July 8th, with a show that you will not want to miss. Gladys has been a goddess of the stage since she first began plying her trade back in the fifties and has been the voice of American music ever since.

Burt Bacharact, one of the world’s most recognisable and acclaimed performers, is also set to perform on July 9th at the same venue. An iconic composer, songwriter, record producer, pianist and singer, he has an incredible three Academy Awards and eight Grammy Awards to his name. An evening with Burt will be one you’ll never forget.
Those looking for something a little more modern are also well catered for with the inclusion of American singer, Lana Del Ray, who will perform at the Monaco Red Cross Gala on July 23rd. Known for global hits including “born to die”, “video games” and “blue jeans”, Lana first found fame after uploading recordings to Youtube. She was signed soon afterwards and hasn’t looked back since. This will be Lana’s second time performing in Monaco, having been selected by the Artistic Department of the Societe des Bains de Mer to perform at the Opera Garnier in 2012.

Seal, The Corrs, Jamie Cullum and many more artists also feature in the star-studded month-long programme that will momentarily turn the area into the musical centre of the world.
