Most famous of all is of course the Monaco Grand Prix, which sees top Formula 1 teams such as Red Bull and Ferrari tear round the streets of Monte-Carlo, a hair’s breadth from our portfolio of luxury Monaco real estate, every May.
A month earlier there is also Top Marques Monaco, the most exclusive supercar show in the world, where VIP visitors get the chance to test drive their dream vehicle on the same stretches of the F1 circuit that Jenson Button will be haring around some six weeks later.
But the first event on the charged Monaco calendar is the Rallye de Monte-Carlo Historique, which takes place later this month. The event is a great spectacle, which is well worth tying in with a house-hunting trip if you are looking for a luxury real estate in Monaco this winter.
The 17th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique will begin on January 22nd in various European cities of departure, which include Barcelona, Glasgow, Oslo, Stockholm, Reims and of course Monte-Carlo, where our portfolio of Monaco property for sale is based.
Once the cars have travelled to the South of France, competitors then take part in various stages across the Hautes-Alpes before ending up in Monaco on January 29th.
Stages include “La Cime du Mas – Col de l’Acharasson – Col de Gaudissart” and “Lalouvesc – Labaite d’Andaure” – both challenging circuits well known to rally fans, many of who will flock to Monaco for the final stage of the race at the end of January.
The final leg is held in the countryside around Monaco, around well-known towns such as Sospel, Lantosque and Luceram before the cars roll into Monte Carlo for the prestigious award ceremony gala on the Wednesday night in the Salle des Etoiles.
Do not hesitate to get in touch with us for more information on the event, or for an invoice on any of the property for sale in Monaco advertised on our website.
