The Principality of Monaco is currently gearing up for the Monaco Yacht Show, the most anticipated yachting event in the calendar. The show is held in Port Hercules, a stone’s throw from some of our most exclusive Monaco real estate.
The event, which attracts the biggest names from the industry as well as more than 100 of the world’s largest and most stunning super yachts, will this year take place from September 25th to 28th.
And this year, for the first time ever, the show will be holding the first edition of the Monaco Yacht Summit the day before the opening of the world’s most revered superyacht display.
The Monaco Yacht Summit aims to provide an annual forum for the yachting world where issues of importance to yacht owners and buyers can be addressed.
The summit, to be held in the Grimaldi Forum within walking distance of some of our premier seaview apartments in Monaco, will also provide a space where the biggest players in yachting can meet, talk and network.
Throughout September 24th, three round table discussions will be held at the summit, looking specifically at new situations arising in yachting, new expectations and new opportunities opening up in this highly competitive industry.
Gaelle Talarida, Managing Director of the Monaco Yacht Show, said: “Through 23 editions, the Monaco Yacht Show has offered yacht owners, buyers and enthusiasts the very best that the world’s boat builder, brokers and yachting professionals have to offer, in the unique setting of the Principality of Monaco and in a professional but festive atmosphere.”
Another first for this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, a fantastic event to tie in with a look at our portfolio of apartments for rent in Monaco, is the world premiere of M/Y Event, a stunning 60 metre superyacht designed by award-winning designer Tim Heywood.
Rob Luijendijk, managing director of Amels, the prestigious Dutch shipbuilders who constructed the brand new yacht, said: “Event is a benchmark in superyacht exterior design. She will definitely turn many heads, even in Monaco where there is so much competition for attention! She is an exciting yacht in all aspects – from her Laura Sessa interior to the many technical advances from Amels.”
If you are planning to come to the principality to peruse our Monaco real estate in September, we highly recommend a visit.
