Monaco Yacht Show 2012

The Principality of Monaco is currently gearing up for the Monaco Yacht Show 2012, the most anticipated yachting event in the calendar which is played out in Port Hercules, just moments from some of our exclusive Monaco rentals.

The event, which attracts the biggest names from the industry as well as more than 100 of the world’s largest and most stunning super yachts, will this year take place from September 19th to the 22nd.

Organizers this year say they expect the exhibition to be as busy as normal, despite the unsettled economic climate which continues to wreak havoc with global markets in all corners of the world.

“We are truly aware the MYS has become an event that many yacht companies can’t afford to miss out,” said Gaëlle Tallarida, managing director of the Monaco Yacht Show said recently.

“Our role is to offer the best working and exhibiting conditions to all participants, so that they only have to focus on their main goal when attending the event: making business,” she added. “It’s a one-year organization to deliver such a worldwide event; we have set up collaborations with top-quality service suppliers to fulfill the demanding expectations of the exhibitors and visitors… They must feel at the right place with the right people to develop their business.”

So it will be business as usual for the 500 leading super yacht companies who will soon begin to set up on the stands in Port Hercules, below some of our premier Monte Carlo rentals.

But before the leading experts in the yachting industry descend on Monaco, there’s a lot of work to be done by a team of 300 crew who set up the stands and get the area, in view of a string of magnificent Monaco rentals, ready.

Those staying in one of our Monte Carlo rentals now will soon be able to see preparations starting to be made and the layout of more than 13,000 square meters of floor area, 15,000 square meters of carpet and a staggering 14km of electric cables being laid, all to ensure the event goes without a hitch.
