The Monaco Top Marques Car Show 2015

mazzantievantraThe thought of Monaco conjures images of supreme luxury in a glamorous location on the French Riviera. There is little question why Monte Carlo real estate is among some of the most sought after property in the world. People come from far and near in search of the high quality of living that the Principality promises.

Yet that is not the only reason why people buy property in Monaco. Each year Monaco welcomes some of the world’s greatest attractions. From small-scale local events to large international spectacles beamed to millions across the world via satellite. Monaco truly is the premier destination for world-travelers with something to interest everyone throughout the year. Across a variety of locations from lofty cliffs, to vast ports and luxurious restaurants to ancient national buildings, there is always something new to experience in Monaco.

The next in a long calendar of events in 2015 is the Top Marques Car Show, continuing Monaco’s longstanding passion for motorsport. Unlike the ancient Monte Carlo Grand Prix and the even older Rallye de Monte Carlo, Top Marques is celebrating only its 12th year in 2015. Despite its relatively short existence, “Top Marques is now officially Monaco’s third biggest annual public event and is the only live supercar show in the world” the official press release proudly announces.

This year’s edition will take place between the 16th and 19th April across the Grimaldi Forum’s 106,000ft2 exhibition hall. 2014’s show attracted 36,000 visitors, among whom was the Prince of Monaco. They were treated to a wide range of concept cars and the latest production models. 2015 will be no exception with a record breaking seven world debuts announced by the event’s organisers.

Meanwhile, visitors can also hope to see the obligatory array of luxury car brands including the likes of Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren and Ferrari. These will be sporadically exhibited among over 60 other exclusive automobile exhibits. This includes the AeroMobil 3.0, the world’s most advanced flying car prototype.

Top Marques will be held across several other glamorous venues in an unprecedented partnership that comprises the Fairmont Hotel and the lavish Casino de Monte Carlo. This reflects the wide variety of luxury goods and services beyond the realm of automobiles that will be displayed during the four day event. Yachting, aviation, jewellery and art exhibits will feature giving those present the unique opportunity to explore the latest and greatest luxury products in a glorious Mediterranean setting.

Ahead of the show’s launch, Steven Saltzman, director of Top Marques, declared: “for our 12th edition we have sought out the best of the best for our visitors from a flying car to a 1341 horsepower supercar. This exhibition is really about showing a glimpse of tomorrow, today!”

“We are especially thrilled to be showcasing so many Monegasque products, from some beautiful old classic cars from the newly established Monaco Legends Motors to one of the only cars ever to be actually made here in Monaco by local manufacturers Monte Carlo Automobili.”
