The focus of the property world will be on the French Riviera’s festival town of Cannes from Tuesday 13 March to Friday 16 March when it hosts MIPIM, the industry’s leading real estate exhibition and conference.
A Premier Property Event
The event, aimed at connecting together the key decision-makers in the industry and gaining an insight into the latest property trends, will take place at the famous Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes on the iconic La Croisette.
During this period, in excess of 24,000 of the world’s most influential property experts from more than 100 countries – many with porfolios of Monaco property for sale – will descend on Cannes to view projects, strike deals and make contacts in a string of high profile events organised throughout the four days.
Organisers of MIPIM predict that this year’s exhibition will beat all previous records in terms of numbers, with more than 3,100 exhibiting companies and 3,800 CEOs and C-suite professionals already confirmed to attend the trade fair, which takes up more than 19,000 square metres of prime space on the Cannes seafront.
Showcasing Development Projects for Three Decades
MIPIM was launched in 1990 to showcase property development projects to potential investors. The conference now focuses on key issues facing the property industry such as sustainable urban development and global economic hurdles.
A series of innovative exhibitions, insightful conferences and intensive business networking sessions will be held in the Palais and other key venues in Cannes over the course of the four day conference. Key events for 2018 include a debate on ‘Writing New Urban Rules’ on the opening day, a ‘Re-invest Summit’ being held at the Carlton Hotel, and a Women’s Cocktail with the theme ‘New Ways of Leadership’.
The week culminates in an awards ceremony held on Thursday March 15th in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes at which industry leaders are rewarded for their outstanding contributions to the real estate sector.

MIPIM is the second largest annual event to be held in Cannes, after the Film Festival, and creates an enormous revenue for the town.
