For a tiny Principality which measures just three miles long by one and a half miles wide, Monaco plays host to a number of world-class sporting events. There is of course the famous Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place in the heart of the Principality and not far from some of our most prestigious Monaco property for sale. Additionally, the world’s second smallest state also hosts one of the biggest tennis tournaments in Europe every April at the highly esteemed Monte Carlo Country Club. Monaco recently welcomed another high-profile show to add to its overflowing annual calendar of events. Those lucky enough to own or rent property in Monaco know that there are already a number of great car rallies and races in the Principality, but the new Motor Show takes the prestige to a whole new level. The brand new international car show, Salon International de l’Automobile de Monaco (SIAM), took place from 16th-19th February 2017. This was its inaugural event and it was a resounding success with 35,494 visitors attending during four days of shows, debates and conferences. Continue reading
